During his 26-year career with Boise Parks & Recreation, Kilian has coordinated softball, football, basketball, hockey/figure skating programs and tournaments and several special events.

At the City of Boise, Kilian has been athletic sports and concession coordinator/director, acting superintendent of recreation services and general manager of Idaho IceWorld. Previously he was the manager of Ice Rink, Inc/Shamrock in Boise.

A former Idaho State ASA board president, Kilian has served as a USA/ASA state player representative for 20 years and six years as the Northwest USA/ASA Regional Player representative.

He has coordinated numerous youth and adult softball tournaments, including one western national girls fastpitch tournament, the 2010 men’s E ASA Western National, and three Air National Guard Tournaments.

As a volunteer, Kilian has coached youth hockey, baseball, football and youth and adult baseball and softball teams. He has volunteered for the Boise River Festival, Humanitarian Football Bowl and NCAA Basketball Championships at Boise State University, Firebird Raceway and other organizations.

A graduate of St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, Kilian is a former assistant director of the St. Cloud Municipal Sports Center, Ice Arena/Baseball Complex.
